Malaysian and Singaporean fans clash outside Jalan Besar Stadium along King George’s Avenue last Friday (8 June 2012) hours before the football match between the two national teams.

The Malaysian football fans, known as the Ultras, were marching down Horne Road and chanting, causing traffic to slow along Horne Road and King George’s Avenue.

1:28 – Man in white t-shirt with red logo on the back seen gesturing to the Ultras before the skirmish broke out.

The Cisco and stadium security officers tried to steer the Ultras away from the Singaporean fans queuing outside the stadium.

1:48 – Cisco security officer escorting the man away from Ultras, who are pushing against the cordon formed by Cisco and stadium security officers.

2:11 – One of the Ultras in an orange top breaks through the cordon and rushes at the man. More Ultras follow suit and a melee breaks out.
