Speaking at the end of the Country Finals, Coach Sundramoorthy said: “We had so much talent to choose from here at the Country Finals and now, we have the top five boys who we feel will be able to make an impression at the Regional Finals. These boys fit the bill in terms of what we were looking for which were, first touch, mental fortitude and skill on the ball. It was tough to choose five out of 23 but the choices made were definitely the right ones.”

Coach Aide Iskandar was equally impressed when he said: “It has been a long journey and I have been with these boys all the way. Nike ‘The Chance’ is all about giving young footballers the opportunity to take the next step forward and this year, we found not just a few but a whole group of players who had the skill set to match what we wanted. I am sure these five boys will do us proud at the Regional Finals and put on a good show. Their time is now and they should grab it with both hands. I wish them all the best in Jakarta.”
