SDP’s Holland-Bukit Timah GRC team has called on the Elections Department to look into the Sim Ann’s eligibility to run as a candidate of the PAP team for the GRC.

He also said that an investigation should be conducted within the hour.

Dr Chia Shi Lu, a doctor from Singapore General Hospital, is replacing Mr Baey Yam Keng in the five-man Tanjong Pagar GRC. It was a late switch on Nomination Day morning as Mr Baey switched over to Tampines GRC to replace unionist Steve Tan, who pulled out due to personal reasons.

“And on a national level, there will be at least 18 non-PAP MPs of which nine will be opposition.” He was referring to the 9 Non-constituency MPs and the nine Nominated MPs.
