武汉冠状病毒疫情当前，人心惶惶，邻里都会相互提醒要保持卫生，但偏偏就有缺乏公德心的人士，刻意在电梯按钮上吐口水，是要恶心谁啊？！ 新捷运周四（19日）傍晚在脸书上帖文，发现有人在朝盛港轻轨线（东）棕美站（Rumbia station）电梯内，朝电梯按钮吐口水。 当局表示，此行为在平常时期已经算是可恶行为，而在这非常时期更不只是恶作剧了，因此当局已经报警，会全面配合调查。 “我们向民众保证，已经清理了电梯，并且已经消毒。” 当局促请通勤者培养良好的个人卫生习惯，并且善待他人和各种公共用品，一起保持社区的安全。 网民纷纷谴责该恶心之举，并呼吁相关当局将采取对付行动。 有者认为不可轻易饶恕作恶者，应该将他送入牢中接受鞭刑，才能让他们谨记在心。 有者则认为应该将作恶者送去辅导，以便了解他做出有关举动的主要原因，否则他可能会在其他地方重复类似的行为。 有网民表示，在其他和组屋附近的轻快铁电梯内，如大巴窑1巷的157栋组屋电梯内，也曾经发生类似事件，并呼吁当局采取行动。
