In November 2009, NTUC Secretary General Lim Swee Say was invited to give a talk on Singapore’s tripartism at INSEAD in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the business school. He not only elaborated the concept of “Cheaper, Better, Faster”, but also provided an overview of the government’s strategy to mitigate the impact of the global financial crisis.
