Raffles City Shopping Centre shoppers can get to experience a dash of Broadway at the mall on Friday Oct 2 at 7.00pm and Saturday Oct 3 at 5.00pm and 7.00pm.

Zebra Crossing Productions presents an exclusive preview showcase of the blockbuster musical comedy Victor/Victoria.

Shoppers will be treated to a performance of show-stopping Chicago-inspired dance routines and soft, romantic ballads a la 1930s Paris.

“We want people to come to the showcase and feel the magic of theatre for themselves. We hope that by bringing the arts to a popular shopping mall will make it more accessible to the general public,” a spokesperson from Zebra Crossing Productions said.

Artistic Director of Zebra Crossing and Victor/Victoria Director Loretta Chen added: “We strongly believe that art cannot stop in times of turmoil. In fact, art plays an even more crucial role in times of adversity.”

The Broadway classic stars international jazz sensation Laura Fygi in the title role alongside an international and local cast and dancers.

Victor/Victoria is about Victoria Grant, who passionate about singing pretends to be a female impersonator to gain attention. Victoria transforms into Count Victor Grazinski at Paris Nightclub and becomes the toast of the town.

Exclusive promotions are available during the weekend roadshows. Receive 20 per cent off tickets (terms and conditions apply). Get a goodie bag when purchasing tickets between 6.00pm to 7.00pm on Oct 2 and Oct 3 (whist stock lasts). Stand a chance to win premium tickets the musical.

So head on down to Raffles City Shopping Centre on Oct 2 and Oct 3 for the roadshows!
