What sort of government is this?

Why does the Government say it is open, and then come down hard on views that are not their own? They only prove themselves to be closed off to anything remotely different or divergent from their own views. How tragic for Singapore that true debate never really happens. I saw that with my own eyes today… why can we not agree to disagree in a civil manner? Why make personal attacks?
