THE Tanjong Pagar Town Council has announced plans to appoint an independent panel to further investigate the fall of Siti Nur Aini, who plunged four storeys through a gap of a metal railing along the lift landing outside her flat.

The seven-year-old had been playing hide-and-seek with her uncle on Sunday afternoon and had hidden behind a picnic mat that was hanging over the metal railing. She then fell through the gap, suffering multiple fractures.
