BUDGET – NSP takes to Speakers’ Corner on Friday
Opposition party’s first event at Hong Lim Park.
A day after Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam delivers the Budget speech, the National Solidarity Party will take to Speakers’ Corner to give its views.
Its secretary general, Mr Ken Sunn, says the event is to let Singaporeans “participate, speak and hear various views and opinions on the Singapore Government’s 2009 Budget statement, and discuss ways to improve our Singapore Economy.”
The Speakers include its president, Mr Sebastian Teo, and former NCMP Steve Chia.
The event begins at 6.30pm and is scheduled to end at 8.30PM this Friday (23 Jan) at Hong Lim Park.
