Many South Asian workers are leaving their homes and families for the promise of money and security in Singapore, only to discover they have been duped and no jobs exist.

They end up being broken men, destitute in a foreign land.

Al Jazeera‘s Tony Birtley reports migrant workers from Bangladesh are part of a growing number who are being ripped off in highly organised scams throughout Asia.
