A 57-year-old electric bicycle rider passed away after his e-bike collided with a car at the junction of Hougang Street 93 and Buangkok Green on Monday (13 February) at 8.09pm.
According to the Straits Times, the man was conveyed unconscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Lianhe Wanbao identified the man as Mr Ng Cheo Kok and said that he was later passed away due to the incident.
Police investigations are ongoing.
On 27 October 2016, a road accident, which involved a trailer and three power-assisted bicycles, took place on Thursday (27 October) night, claiming two lives and left one injured.
On 18 November, a 62-year-old man e-bike rider passed away after he collided with a tipper truck at Cecil Street towards Collyer Quay.
