In response to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s comment that the government’s moves to impose curbs on immigration and the size of the foreign worker population are not because the government has decided to be populist, but are a recognition of real problems that can affect Singapore society and the need to address them.

It takes 10years to grow a tree, but it takes only 10 minutes to cut that tree. It took Singapore 50 years to become a civilized society through various courtesy campaigns, bilingual campaigns and efforts by People’s Association, Grassroots leaders, but will it take only 5 years to destroy everything as we see increasing social problems and issues?

For the last seven months, we the citizens of Singapore have been growing our unity and patriotic love for our nations through bonding over various Jubilee SG50 events on this small red dot.

This is a great year (with the exception of Late Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s passing) as we can feel the bonding between people and the nation, even kindergarten children knows what is “SG50”. A simple logo but deep meanings. Yet at the same time, because of this growing strong bonding & love for our nation, we have shown the government, what we love and what we hate.

We hate to lose our nation to foreigners! We hate to be looked down by highly paid expatriates who treated us Singaporeans as cheap labour! We hate to see the nation built by our forefathers and parents to be destroy by these people , hate to see our nation being eroded with bad morals values and cultures by these “importers”! We hate to lose our jobs to these foreigners!

We Singaporeans owe the nation.

If these foreigners and “imports” can’t respect and love & live together with us in this small country, they better leave us; don’t pollute our nation & our people with those evil thoughts /heartless/ selfish/ uncivilized behaviors!

Singapore used to be termed as a “safe & green country” but due to increasing population , increasing foreigners, more of our trees are chopped off to build infrastructure build condominiums to cater to these needs, with increasing social problems…

Are we going to lose the ” safe & green” city in the next five years?
